I’m Owen, the owner of Primed Fitness, originally from Dublin, Ireland, now living in London.

My mission is to take the noise out of the health and fitness world and teach people principles that specifically apply to them so that once we are done working together, they have solved the puzzle that is their fitness for the rest of their life.

Whenever life has shown me a roadblock, I focus on physically getting back into my primed state and watching as the benefits ripple into other parts of my life. Hence the name Primed Fitness.

I enjoy challenging myself physically and mentally, having competed in powerlifting, endurance races, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and natural bodybuilding.

I published my first book in 2018 and plan to publish another in the future. By the age of 26, I had invested over £50,000 of my own money into business advisors, fitness experts and life coaches.

Key values of mine are responsibility and growth. This is the main reason why I only work with people who want to improve themselves and know that, ultimately, you are responsible for the results. I can signpost the way and advise, but you are the one in the arena at the end of the day.

My approach doesn’t work for everyone. It needs a willing participant who isn’t afraid to step out of their confront zones. Over the years, I found these people to be most prominent in the investment industry.

The key to getting results for clients, I believe, is focusing on teaching. Helping individuals to understand themselves and what are the unique approaches for them and their lifestyle. I enjoy learning as much as possible about fitness, nutrition and behaviour change to give me the broadest scope of tools for my toolbox when working with clients.

In my spare time, I like to walk, meditate, read and occasionally binge-watch a TV series. Other areas of interest outside of fitness are engineering, economics, philosophy, FinTech, football and travelling.
